One look at the store shows you that the couple creates products with a particular theme in mind: nature. The papers are decorated with waterfalls, forests, birds, lilies and other flowers. The couple says they are particularly inspired by their local Canadian landscape and wildlife. The couple's love for nature extends beyond capturing it in art, though. One of the best aspects of this store is that when you purchase one of their products, you are supporting a business that uses 100% recycled paper and non-toxic inks.
However, the store also contains products that have surprising and fun designs such as robots, coffee, and other kitchen-inspired designs. This little robot is my favorite item in the store!
To create most of their art like this robot, Greg and Tazim use a printmaking technique called linocut. The artist cuts a design into a piece of linoleum and the raised sections are then inked and pressed into paper. In some ways, it is a process similar to a woodcut.
